I decided to join the theme for this month's Mamarazzi challenge: Eyes. I love this site because it is for the most part other moms like myself who have a love for photography and want to learn and improve their skills. There are some amazing pictures on there and as I am just beginning to learn about things like aperture and ISO, I appreciate that everyone includes the camera info and settings they used so that us beginners can learn! I think just about everyone who contributes has adopted children as well- awesome!
This first picture was taken back in the summer when we were in Oaxaca, Mexico. We were in a village teaching little kids English and while all of the other children were up running and playing around this little boy was just sitting like this with his head facing the chair. I tried to get his attention to take a picture and this is the look I got- his eyes and his expression look sad to me.
This is little Lucy from our homeschool group. I LOVE her big brown eyes and everytime I see her I have to take a picture because she's just so cute!
And just for fun, I found this picture of Jensen from the summer. He had just come out of the pool. I love how you can see the water dripping from his face and the "goggle marks" around his eyes.
These were all taken with a Sony A100 in Aperture Priority mode.

Great Photos! I read through some of your posts. Are you fundraising through photography? What an awesome idea!
Wishing you all the best with your adoption!
