Welcome!

Hey there, welcome to the new blog! This site was created to be a place where friends and family can keep updated on the happenings of our family, and also as a place to share about how God is moving and working not only in our lives but all over the world. I'm sure it won't take long before you figure out what my passions are and that is precisely what I am hoping to accomplish through taking the time to update this fairly often. (We'll see how I do!)

God is central to everything we do or say-

Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods (psalm 96:4)



My prayer is that my life would echo these words expressed by William Carey, who is known as the father of modern missions. He left England in 1793 for India and wrote:



"When I left England, my hope of India's conversion was very strong; but amongst so many obstacles, it would die, unless upheld by God. Well, I have God, and His word is true. Though the superstitions of the heathen were a thousand times stronger than they are, and the example of the Europeans a thousand times worse; though I were deserted by all and persecuted by all, yet my faith, fixed on the sure Word, would rise above all obstructions and overcome every trial. God's cause will triumph."



His cause will triumph. I want to be moved by this truth and vision of a great and triumphant God- and live my life for nothing less. That is a shortened version of the reason behind the name for this blog. So as you read on, I invite you to join us on this journey to make God and His cause known...
