Just in case any of you were wondering about the whole ordeal with our I600 and hadn't heard...
It is at the embassy in SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA!!!
It was such a rough few weeks filled with ups and downs, and at one point the NVC telling us that we may have to go back to square one with our immigration office and re-send it yet again. Neither Randy or I were happy campers at that point and he decided to call our agency to get them involved. Within 2 days we had word that they had received it last Friday and it is now being processed at the embassy.... FINALLY- after almost 4 weeks of not knowing where it was!!!
We also heard that she got her EP (Emigration Permit) on April 24th, so that is awesome because now there should be no more hold ups! Now that takes a little while to process and they send a packet (P3) to our agency and then after they send it back to Korea, then we should be hearing when her VI (visa interview or issuance) is scheduled! This is the last step. That is so exciting because once that is scheduled, we could be getting that Travel Call anywhere from a day to a week later!!! Korea here we come!
There is a real possibility that we could be in Korea sometime in May. We don't want to get too excited too quickly, but wow it finally feels real. We are actually going to have our baby very soon!!!
Look at that timeline on the right... only a few more steps until we are with our baby girl!!!
