Sneaky servants... (you know who you are!)

Last week I had a very unexpected surprise.

Actually it was an unexpected blessing.

It blew me away.

The kindness and thoughtfulness (and sneakiness) of some of my sweet friends overwhelmed me.

As in overwhelmed with joy.

Wanna know why?!

Of course you do! (why else would you be reading the blog?!)

Here's a little hint.

Yep, a few dear friends showed up at our house with a large ice-chest and grocery bags filled with meals.

Multiple homemade dinners and side dishes- ready for the freezer.

Ready to throw into the oven on any given busy day. (Are there days that aren't?)

This was such a huge blessing for our family and an encouragement to me. The body of Christ is a precious thing and I am priveledged to watch how He uses my sisters and their gifts to serve so humbly. And practically.

We have had the blessing of meals brought to us already by sweet friends and family when Elliana came home. But this? We have been home 3 months! We don't deserve this.

But the Lord blessed us through these friends anyway.

I was only able to personally thank the two women who came over. They both are such a blessing with a passionate love for the Lord. But word has it that a few others may have known (and participated) as well.

So if you are one of those sneaky servants....

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our whole family thanks you.

Especially Elliana.

When do we eat? :)

What a wonderful thing to do. I truly believe that a person that is kind attracts kindness back. You must be doing something right :)

Love the picture!
