One way God uses ordinary people to work miracles

I know I've been on somewhat of a video kick lately, but it's just hard to not share something that I think you will LOVE. I saw this months ago, but was reminded of it again when a friend was talking about wanting to be used by God to help others be able to adopt. This is a true story about how God can use ordinary people to change the course of someone else's life. And of course it has to do with adoption- what else?! It's less than 5 minutes and definitely worth watching!

Are you willing to be used by Him to possibly change the life of another?
What are you waiting for?

wow, that really brought tears to my eyes. What a feeling to have that happen, and what a feeling it would be to be able to do that for someone. WOW, thanks for sharing, im going to pass it along as well.

Thank you Candice for sharing. What a touching story. I am sure that most people who have adopted have a similar story. God wants us to trust him and step out in faith. I know we did and I am so thankful we did:)

That was beautiful, but so consistent with the way our God weaves His way in and out of our lives every day. At the end, when he says something about being a part of the 'tapestry of God's Love', it reminded me of this scripture: “I want you woven into a tapestry of love, in touch with everything there is to know of God. Then you will have minds confident and at rest, focused on Christ, God’s great mystery.” Colossians 2:2 Message Bible

Oh my gosh! I am bawling. A similar thing happened to us, allowing us to begin our adoption process sooner than we thought. I was babysitting for a couple from our church, and I guess they talked about our plans to adopt while they were out. When they got back, the wife asked me to sit down, and handed me a very large check "for babysitting". She said, "my DH and I talked, and we both think the Lord is calling us to help you start your adoption process now." Little did either of us know (but God knew) that our daughter had just been born 2 weeks prior to that. 11 months later, we were holding her in our arms. Our friends also didn't want anyone to know what they had done. But we know, and God knows that because of their obedience and generosity, our daughter found her way home to us.
